Copy-editing

Copy-editing is about enhancing the readability of a piece and ensuring that it is suitable for the intended audience. The editor will suggest improvements to improve flow and add to the reader experience.

As copy-editor, I will:

• restructure sentences/paragraphs for clarity and conciseness
• improve readability by amending vocabulary
• remove ambiguities or potentially embarrassing errors
• ensure that the document is consistently written in the correct tone
